It could be said with justification that the British Isles are one big film set and motion picture producers seem to be pursuing their craft within these shores more and more.
Whilst UK scenes are never likely to be suitable for action movies (can you imagine Godzilla towering over Big Ben?), it goes without saying that any director filming a picture with an historical slant can find what is needed for authenticity here.
